The Great Wave Archive contains two decades of proposed alternatives to the supposed inevitability of neoliberal imperialism. The marginal activities, artworks, critical texts, and books produced since the early 2000s by DebatikCenter of Contemporary Art and the members of the MANIFESTO have analyzed different past and present historical perspectives of art in Albania, challenging the very idea of progress, thus becoming a matrix for analyzing today's society. By proposing alternatives to the inevitability of neoliberalism, this archive can become the matrix to shake up today's society.
